Donald F. Richey, M.D.
Dr. Richey is a graduate of University of Oregon Medical School. His internship was served at Milwaukee County Hospital, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He served two years in the United States Public Health Service Department of Indian Health as a family practice physician. He completed three years of dermatology residency at University of Southern California. Dr. Richey is Board Certified in Dermatology and Histopathology.

Dr. Richey is married, has four children and seven grandchildren. He is a member of Rotary, recently being the recipient of the prestigious Paul Harris Award from that organization.

He is an active athlete, having completed the Canadian Ironman three times. He annually competes in multiple triathlons throughout California and the United States.

F. Paul Sajben, M.D.
Dr Sajben graduated from Indiana University earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine where he graduated cum laude. Following his transitional internship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, he attended the Naval Aerospace Medicine Institute in Pensacola, Florida where he graduated top in his class. He then served as a Naval Flight Surgeon with HSL-37, a USN Seahawk Squadron in Hawaii for four years prior to starting his residency training in Dermatology at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego. Dr. Sajben is a board-certified dermatologist. He has published extensively in dermatology peer-reviewed journals and has spoken on various topics at international dermatology meetings. Immediately prior to entering into private practice in Chico, Dr. Sajben served as the Chief of the Dermatology Department at the Naval Hospital Okinawa Japan. Dr. Sajben has been practicing in Chico since 2001.

Dr. Sajben is married with 3 children: Alexandra, Nicholas, and Caroline

Stephen Vannucci, M.D.
Dr. Vannucci received his Bachelor of Sciences degree in biochemistry at the University of California, Davis, and was a four year player on the UCD Aggie Football Team. He earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, followed by an Internship in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University's Baptist Hospital. He completed his Dermatology Residency at Vanderbilt University and served one year as Chief Resident. Following residency, he completed a one year sub-specialty Fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of Alabama. Dr. Vannucci has been in private practice at the North Valley Dermatology Center since August 2000.

Dr. Vannucci is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and is Board Certified in Dermatopathology.

Nor Chiao, M.D.
Dr. Chiao is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Harvard Medical School. She completed general surgery internship followed by a year of otolaryngology residency at UC Davis. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Texas-Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Ojay On, PA-C
O.Jay On PA-C is a graduate of Stanford University’s Physician Assistant Program and has been practicing dermatology for 11 years. O.Jay lectures for Stanford’s PA/NP program on dermatological conditions, as well as acting as a site visitor for the Stanford PA/NP program. He has also been a proctor for the National Physician Assistant Boards. His talents as a public speaker have lead to several guest lectures for Pharmaceutical Companies.

O.Jay On PA-C is a member of the Sacramento Valley Dermatologic Society, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.

Brent Hopson, Certified Physician's Assistant
Dr. Richey is pleased to have Mr. Brent Hopson, Certified Physician’s Assistant, as a member of his practice. A native of Central California, Brent began his medical career as a Navy Hospital Corpsman in 1989. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in Health Science from California State University at Fresno in 1996, he went on to complete a Masters’ Degree in Medical Science from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He has since continued his career learning through study, lecturing and publication. Prior to joining North Valley Dermatology, Mr. Hopson had been part of a very prestigious dermatology practice in the Bay Area. He is very skilled in all aspects of modern dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of all medical, surgical and cosmetic conditions.

He and his wife, Brandy have two children. We welcome the addition of Brent Hopson to Dr. Richey’s practice and look forward to utilizing his skills and knowledge to continue to care for our valued patients. Mr. Hopson’s caring knowledge and bedside manner are a great adjunct to Dr. Richey’s practice. We are proud to have him as a member of our community.

Jackie Hollcraft, Certified Physician's Assistant
Jackie Hollcraft is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is a California State licensed Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2002 and Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Science in 2003 both from Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania. Jackie began her Physician Assistant career practicing Family and Pediatric care in a medically under-served community. This opportunity helped to develop her medical and patient care skills, which allows her to provide comprehensive care to all of her patients.
Jackie is a native of northeast Ohio, and currently resides in Chico with her husband and two children.

Ronnie Boongaling, Practice Administrator
Ronnie has earned both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from California State University, Sacramento. He has many years of experience in medical management, financial reporting and analysis, and human resources development. Ronnie oversees all business aspects of North Valley Dermatology Center.
